Student Success

Students have gone on to receive scholarships and to have professional careers with such institutes as:

Ballet West, RDT (Reporatory Dance Theater), Ririe Woodbury, Joffrey Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Tulsa Ballet, New York City Ballet, Los Angeles Classical Ballet, Burklyn Ballet, Atlanta Ballet, Houston Ballet, Ballet Oklahoma, Julliard, Utah Valley University (UDU) ballet program, University of Utah Ballet and Modern Dance programs, and BYU's Ballet program.

ABA Seniors 2017

Congratulations Ellie Seamons who graduated from Herriman High School.  She was involved in FBLA was a leader in DECA and was an editor for the school's newspaper.  She achieved a 3.99 gpa when graduating high school.  She graduated with an enhanced diploma in Math, Business and Publications.  She will attending the University of Utah as part of their business scholars program.  Ellie has danced many lead roles at ABA including Soloist Dance of the Hours in Coppelia, Dew Drop Fairy in the Nutcracker, Summer Fairy in Cinderella and Aurora in Sleeping Beauty.  

Congratulation to Annika Vaughn who graduated from Jordan High School with a honors diploma. She was a member of the Madrigals choir.   She certified to be a nursing assistant and is currently working for the past year at Draper Rehab Center as a CNA.  Annika was awarded several shcolarships.  The Dean's Scholarship and Dance Scholarship at Westminster college. She also received the Trustee's Scholarship from the University of Utah were she will be attending college.  Annika has danced in all of ABA's productions including Nutcracker, Cinderella, Swan Lake, The Little Mermaid, Coppelia, The Firebird and was the Lilac Fairy in ABA's spring production of Sleeping Beauty.


ABA Senior Graduate 2018

Congratulation to Sarenity Castaneda who will be graduating from Taylorsville High School this spring.  She has danced in many roles and ballet's at ABA including Nutcracker:  Clara, Snow Queen, Sugar Plum Fairy; The Little Mermaid: the title role; Coppelia:  Swanhilda; The Firebird:  The Princess; This spring The Snow Queen:  the title role; Sleeping Beauty:  the diamond fairy and Cinderella.
